56 Repair Procedures Welch Allyn Propaq Encore Vital Signs Monitor

3. Slightly spread the casing open at the top until you can disconnect the pressure

transducer tube indicated in the figure below.

1. Spread the casing open to an angle of 45 degrees.

2. Detach the expansion connector cable (to P1) from the front chassis of the monitor as

indicated in the figure below.

Caution Before opening the casing more than one inch in the next step,

disconnect the tube from the pressure transducer at the joint. Failure to

disconnect the tubing may cause damage to the transducer or tubing.
